Jamie assumed her current role in 2021 after almost six years of service as a TIR Staff Accountant Contractor. Prior to joining TIR, she began her career with Wells Fargo, where she worked in the Institutional Trust and Operations departments. During her tenure at Wells Fargo, she reviewed and processed defined benefit retirement plan distributions, reconciled participants’ dividend account transactions, and performed quality-control functions in banking operations. Jamie continued her career as a Staff Accountant with Miller, McNeish, & Breedlove, PLLC., a Charlotte-based public accounting firm that serves high-net-worth individuals, families, and small and large private companies operating in several business sectors, including real estate, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare and retail. In this role, she performed a variety of accounting duties, including preparing journal entries, managing the bookkeeping function, conducting bank reconciliations, and reviewing and analyzing clients’ trial balances. In addition to her accounting duties, she also prepared local and state business tax filings, including payroll, sales and usage taxes as well as personal property taxes. She also prepared individual and business federal and state tax returns. Jamie earned her BS in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
