Oversees the development and expansion of the firm’s investment and business intelligence systems platform as well as enterprise resource planning system

Ryan assumed his current role in February of 2022. He played a key role in designing and implementing the firm’s expanded information systems platform, which has enhanced its capacity to store, integrate, analyze, and report on a broad range of business and investment data. Ryan is particularly responsible for expanding TIR’s portfolio accounting capabilities, which is enabling the firm to accommodate the broad range of complex fund structures it offers clients. Among other things, these enhancements are improving TIR’s ability to conduct contract tracking to safeguard inventory reconciliation and accounts payable and receivable transactions. In addition, they are expanding the firm’s business intelligence and analysis capabilities.

Ryan previously was responsible for portfolio accounting and reporting for several of TIR’s client relationships. Among other things, his duties pertained of overseeing portfolio-level budgeting, accounts payable, and receivable; preparing quarterly and annual reports; addressing client and consultant requests for information; as well as coordinating with external auditors and tax professionals. He engaged in portfolio modeling and financial analysis for his assigned client relationships. Prior to joining TIR, Ryan held multiple positions as he progressed in his career with Enterprise Rent-a-Car including Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Internal Auditor, and Accounting Supervisor. He was most recently in the responsible for overseeing a team of staff accountants, financial training for operational personnel, budgeting, compliance, and auditing, as well as financial and accounting support for various operational lines including both car and truck rental. Prior to that he was an Internal Auditor. In that capacity he led multiple teams that were responsible for reviewing and auditing both financial reports, corporate tax filings, as well as compliance in various areas such as payroll, human resources, environmental, payables, and receivables. Ryan was also responsible for updating audit plans and procedures, and audit planning including risk assessment. During the initial stages of his career with Enterprise, he prepared bank account reconciliations, financial statements, and tax filings. He also oversaw accounts payable and receivable functions and prepared financial fluctuation analyses. Ryan joined TIR in January of 2015 and holds a BBA in accountancy from Marshall University.
